Stocks and indexes rallied Monday the 11th after hurricane Irma caused less damage than expected, calming fears of its impact on economic growth. CANADIAN MACRO The Canadian economy showed powerful growth in the second quarter of 2017 boasting an annualized growth rate of 4.5%. GDP growth posted a significant positive surprise as analyst estimates expected growth in the 3.7% range. Consumer spending and exports were largely to thank for the great quarter, as household consumption rose 4.6% and exports rose 9.6%.
